I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Capital One
Interview
A self-hyped recruiting process where the recruiters pitch the process as something extraordinary, placing themselves on a pedestal. You will get to talk to the recruiters just once.
It is a full-day interview, and you talk to many. A surprise to me was that most did not have my resume. There were various behavioral topics that I found ridiculous. Then comes the tech-fit, where someone asks you specific technical questions based on their experience. Unfortunately, most of the technical questions were from outdated technology, or so specific, and they would be out-of-date in about a month. One interviewer did not even show up on time.
In the end, I did not make it, fine, No issues. But the recruiter did not have courtesy to call and give the result straight. Instead, you get a machine-generated email thanking you for your time, and they found another person.
Maybe, here is a suggestion, send a Bot to answer the interview.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (New York, NY) in May 2019
Interview
Very well organized, recruiter responses were very prompt. She called me to go over the interview process and sent materials to prepare. I had a phone interview and 4 on-site interviews. Each interviewer had a predefined set of questions, were very friendly and knowledgeble. It was best interview I ever had.
