I applied through employee referral. The process took about 4 weeks. The first round was a brief phone interview. I was asked some basic algebra questions like solving linear equations. A few days after the interview, I received an invitation from the recruiter for an on-site interview. The on-site interview had two behavioral interviews and two case interviews. Then we had a lunch with other interviewees and some employees currently working at Capital One.

Question 1
The behavioral questions are typical "tell me about a time..." type, but quite related to the analyst job. Need some preparation.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Capital One (Glen Allen, VA) in Jun 2011
Interview
There are four separate interviews. I had two behavioral and two case. The behavioral mostly focused on how I contributed to the success of projects I worked on, and the kind of work I like to do. The case interviews were difficult but I spent a lot of time preparing for them. Recommend "Case in Point' book which helped a lot. Practice using a pencil, blank piece of paper, and a manual calculator because that's all you're going to get.

Question 1
Describe a time when a project hit a roadblock, yet you were still able to deliver on-time.
I applied online and got a call from recruiter regrading the online assessment test. Cleared that and was flown to Richmond. Got a call after the interview that they will now be searching for teams and have the hiring manager talk to me. Still waiting for that to happen. Not sure how much time that takes...Has anyone been in similar situation?
