Had a 30 min initial phone call with the recruiter that went well. I was told the process involved an assessment and then 4 separate interviews, which is excessive for a large company like Capital One. Having candidates and hiring managers invest over 4.5 hours of their time simply says that they aren't confident in making hiring decisions. The job assessment did not seem like it was related to the job whatsoever -it's a personality assessment with a portion that makes you look at 3 different sales summaries and asks you to draw conclusions. Trick questions involved. I felt like I was writing an exam in uni again. NOT recruiting related, more like Finance. I completed the assessment and didn't hear back from the recruiter for almost 2 weeks and it was clear that I hadn't passed the assessment. Followed up with the recruiter twice and she finally sent a copy/paste generic decline.
