I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle in Oct 2014
Interview
Applied online, got an email to schedule an interview the next day. The interview was a few days later. It was a group interview and several of the store managers conducted it. There was nothing out of the ordinary. Just a few questions like tell us about yourself, why do you want to work at Chipotle, what was your last job, what was your last boss like. Called a week later because I hadn't heard back: had interview with GM that day. Called them back a week later, they said I got the job.

Question 1
This was not unexpected, but they asked what we knew about the company, so do your research. They also asked how we got along with our previous bosses, which can be hard if they were bad. But it's never a good idea to bad mouth a previous employer.
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (West Hartford, CT) in May 2026
Interview
I scheduled an interview, but when I arrived the first time the manager was not there, so I had to reschedule. At the second interview, I waited about 10–15 minutes before the manager was ready. The interview itself was short, around 10 minutes, and mostly consisted of behavioral questions read from a sheet. Overall, the process felt disorganized and not very personal, but the questions were straightforward.
