I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chipotle (North Vancouver, BC) in Jun 2025
Interview
I showed up on time for my scheduled interview and informed a cashier, who told me the manager had stepped out due to an emergency. I mentioned I was there for an interview, and she asked me to leave my name and number, which I did. I waited more than 24 hours with no follow-up, so I called the store. The person who answered seemed unsure about the process and eventually put me on hold. After about 15 seconds, she came back and abruptly said the interview was canceled — no explanation, no apology. The lack of communication and professionalism was disappointing.
Wasted time, energy, and money commuting for an interview that never happened.
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
The interview process included an application, attending a brief in-person interview, answering questions about teamwork, availability, customer service, and attitude, and was sometimes followed by a same-day or quick hiring decision.
