Screening Call, Video Interview(Technical), Video Interview Round 2(Technical), On site interview, on site 2 (in some cases), offer negotiation. The pay is good but you should evaluate the work environment as well.

Question 1
Hash map, heap, in-depth data structures, multi-threading, scaling and more. In-person interview is a grilling session. If they have already selected a candidate, they will simply kill time and laugh on you by asking their day to day issues. The interview was supposed to be 1 hour but the interviewing panel appeared to be free as they conducted it for 1hr 30 min and were asking if I have some more time. Their behavior was childish, they make faces and laugh as if there is some inside joke going on. I am glad I did not work there as the work environment didn't appear appealing. It was way negative and demoralizing!

Interview
Initial screening by recruiter via email, then 1 hr Karat technical coding round, then 2nd interview with hiring manager and I sent a follow up to get the feedback but there is no response. Application status shows business review.

Coding round is medium, need to know about the programming concepts and need to write the code in a functional environment. Interview questions is mostly on system design, API design, Development lifecycle.

I completed my first round in Karat platform. I would say the difficult level is medium. Be prepared with the list of karat tagged questions in leetcode. 2 Leetcode questions - 30 mins and 6 questions on Object oriented design - 10 mins and 3 System design scenarios - 10 mins.

Round lasts for 60 mins and it contains 3 System design scenarios and we need to answer how do we handle those scenarios - 10 mins . Scenarios will be pretty much like how do you save cost for the company and how do you scale resources . Next session I had 6 questions on Object oriented design and production issues. Next session has 2 leetcode problems one is on hashmap and the other is on finding the word in matrix .

The interview process consists 2 Rounds of Technical interview. Once both are cleared there was another round of onsite managerial interview. Once all the rounds were completed offer was made
