I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Citi in Mar 2013
Interview
I first met a recruiter at university recruitment event. Got called for first round phone interview which was basic HR screening.
Then I had a 1:1 interview with two Managers from the Citi regional office in my state. They went through everything on my resume. The position was actually open to science, engineering and technology majors. So, they will only ask you what you put on your resume.
One of the key to success is to show that you are open to learning new things since the program involves lots of rotation and training.
I eventually got to the final stage of a skype interview with the overall manager of the program who is located in another state. I guess, they were trying to save cost by not flying me in. I believe I was not given an offer because I emphatically told them that I would need a work visa sponsorship, and they probably had other people who did not need that. All in all, it was a good experience
