The interview process was tough with two sessions of three interviewers. They asked good situational questions to get you thinking about your prior laboratory experiences. It was a great experience to get to know some of the staff. There is not much you can prepare for, it is all based on your experience.

It was not bad if you prepare. Know details about your research experience. Also look up behavioral questions. First I had a phone interview with 2 people. 2 weeks later an on site interview where I had lunch with employees, a tour of where I could work, and 2 panel interviews.

Applied on-line, about a month later I was contacted to set up a phone interview and then a on-site interview. The phone interview was about 30-60 minutes. The on-site interview consisted of several panels including behavioral and technical focused panels.

Had an onsite campus interview with two people. Asked basic behavior questions to see how I'd respond to challenges. Brought to an on-site interview after two-three weeks waiting. On-site interview consisted of 2 group interviews. One group asked technical questions and the other asked behavior questions.

The interview was very relax, they ask you to go through your resume at first and they'll stop to ask questions during that part. Then it was the standard behavorial questions on what did you do when you were faced with an obstacle and what is your greatest weakness.

The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DuPont (Wilmington, DE (US)) in December 2010.

Initial phone call from a senior member of the dept. expressed interest in my resume and set up a phone interview the next day. Phone interview was easy going, mostly asking questions on my background and basic conversation on the science being done at the department. Reference checks done the next day with an invitation for on site interview later that day. Interview was a day long consisting of 1:1 and 2 panel interviews. I was surprised how easy going the interview was. Mostly had questions asking about my background and about my presentation. I actually found myself asking more of the questions and engaging in regular conversation with those involved. Also had a tour of the facilities which was nice.

Negotiation

Negotiation was pretty easy going. Got an extra week of vacation and was able to round up the salary to a nice 5 figure amount.

5 panel interview with each person asking 2 questions that must be answered in the STAR format. Tough questions so be prepared. Highly competitive so do your research. HIRERIGHT does their background check And drug screen then you must pass 2 different physicals.have to also score well on Workkeys through the local work force.

College recruiting on campus at UD, followed by on site interviews with interview teams as well as a provided lunch. There was a group of applicants from different local Universities all there on the same day for interviews.

First received an email saying I might be a qualified candidate but needed to take an online screening which consisted of a data entry typing test, some critical reasoning/logic questions, and some situational questions. A few days later, I received an email saying I had passed the test and they would schedule an interview within a few weeks. About a week later the hiring manager called and scheduled an interview. The interview consisted of a 6-person panel and had both technical and non-technical questions. I heard back within a week with the job offer.
