I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Edward Jones (Springfield, MA) in Oct 2017
Interview
Had a phone interview with home office. Please note that they go by the time in THEIR home office. If they say theyre calling at 2, that is 2 in St Louis MO. NOT wherever you are located. once i had the phone interview, I met with the FA in my future office. Once you receive an offer there is a lengthy background check process including fingerprints, copies of your diplomas, highschool transcripts, etc. so be prepared to jump through some major hoops!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They mostly asked questions about previous experience and knowledge about the industry. To prepare, id recommend learning the basics about the company, and trading in the market, as well as preparing some examples of when you provided good customer service in the past.
I am interviewing with them and so far so good. I did 5 steps and now I am waiting to see if I get an offer or not. It was very difficult but they were very nice during the interviews.
Digital interview first, if you advance, then a screening call from the recruiter. If you advance, then you meet the recruiter/ FA over Zoom. They see if you'd be a good fit at the office by asking situational questions.
I interviewed at Edward Jones (Westlake Village, CA)
Interview
The on demand interview and the phone interview with the recruiter were easy to complete. I'm looking forward to the Zoom interview and the next steps in the interview process.
