I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company in Jan 2018
Interview
2 on 1 interview. They were very nice and conversational. Didn’t ask a single question about the drug I’d be selling. Almost all situational & STAR questions. Definitely answer in STAR format, he even told me they look for that. Do your research, read their website and know why you want to work there over other companies. Prepare questions for them.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had a disagreement with a manager.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company (Raleigh, NC) in Feb 2025
Interview
This was one of the hardest interview processes I have ever gone through. There are many rounds to the interview, and they use the “STAR” process (you can look this up). If you are interviewing for this company, it’s imperative to study this process so you know how to answer questions correctly. I made it through to the final round of interviews (it was between myself and one other person). In the end, they went with someone more familiar with the territory.

They fly you out and cover your travel expenses and stay through reimbursement. There’s generally two managers playing good cop bad cop. Overall a good interview process and very standard scenarios questions.
