I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn a couple of months ago, who offered me a position that I thought suited my profile. I showed interest, he tells me that the role will be carried out at one of their clients. After an initial positive interview, I am contacted again by the same recruiter, who asks me (without even having had the first interview with the client) for references to access the first interview. I was happy to provide two great references. A couple of days later, the recruiter contacted me again... just to tell me that my references were excellent and that she would let me know for the first interview... in the meantime, about 2 weeks had passed. I receive an email from the recruiter, informing me that the HR person who was following the applications was on holiday. And from that moment on, silence. Little respect for the candidates, little professionalism, as far as I'm concerned.
