The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at FactSet (Norwalk, CT) in Mar 2011
Interview
Was referred by a employee which they take seriously. Set up a phone interview with HR and had to reschedule 3 times as she happened to not be there when I called each time. Finally got to speak to her which was just to see if you wanted the job and basic resume review and interest in the position. Very straightforward. Got an email 30 mins later to set up a in person interview.
The interview lasted from about 9:00-2:50 and consisted of a demo of the product, 5 seperate 30 min interviews where you will repeat the same thing to 5 different people. Basic resume overview and why Factset, why Finance, why did you choose your college. Basic interview which is like a conversation which is very easy going. Then you get taken out to lunch followed by a meeting with a senior manager or vp. We then sat on a few calls with a current consultant. Everyone seemed to enjoy working there and was a goof experience.
I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FactSet (Paris) in Jan 2025
Interview
Très bien - je suis tombée sur les managers très sympathique et la communication était fluide et précise
Les questions sont allées crescendo en niveau de difficulté, a la fin plus difficile pour me tester je pense

Interview
Straightforward. You begin with a telephone interview, followed by a group interview with you work on a group project and share a talent/skill you possess. If successful, you will then go through several rounds of interview with hiring manager and other senior stakeholders.

Interview
There was an initial virtual interview with HR and then an interview the the manager from the US. HR lady was friendly and was fast to respond to emails. The manager didn’t seem experienced in interviewing, he said so himself and went for someone that didn’t require onboarding training. He said he doesn’t expect knowledge on equity when being quizzed on it but yet the reason for not getting the role was lack of knowledge on it. Was not pleased with this misleading behaviour. The decision felt rushed as they only gave a reply once I emailed so felt like they already had the candidate chosen.
