I was approached by an agent on LinkedIn to apply for the role and encouraging me to do it. When I asked for calls she didn’t respond and know much about the interview process when I eventually spoken with her.
A 3rd party Adecco took the interview stages. Had to chase for a link for a teams meeting. Joined the interview, immediately advised my holiday I prebooked would be an issue, also that I had to pay to get back and forth to London and would be reimbursed at a later date.
The interview itself was competency based, the interview fires 10-12 questions in 30-40 minutes at you, mostly about deadlines and dealing with customers.
Adecco couldn’t answer any questions about the role or company as they was from a 3rd party company. Told me they would be back in touch after 24-48 hours and took an extra week, even after I chased. Let me know by email I didn’t get it.
The whole process is very weird and impersonal. I personally don’t know how they operate this way as you can’t exactly request feedback as they don’t interview you. There is also no email to contact them. Kind of glad I wasn’t offered the role in the end as it seemed so disorganised.
