I applied for the position and was contacted several weeks later. Interview with HR was fairly routine with a review of my experience etc. I was then moved to an interview with the hiring manager. Prior to meeting with them I was asked to do a case study and return it back to HR within 24 hours. I spent a fair amount of time researching the market and developed a presentation in a formal template and was fully ready to discuss my thoughts in the interview. When the interview came there was not one question about the case study in fact, it was not even acknowledged that it was received or reviewed. If you are going to ask candidates to do some pre work, at least have the decency to say you looked at it. Also, when a candidate has to reach out post interview 3 times only to finally getting the rejection email, that's not a great way to treat anyone. Interviewing is a two-way street you are interviewing the candidate, and they are interviewing you Treating people poorly in the process is a clear indication of how things will work and in this case it didn't look good.
