I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Gap (Burlington, ON) in May 2013
Interview
i applied online to gap kids, and was called the next evening. i was asked to come in 2 days later for an interview. i went in (on a Sunday), and it was packed. the manager asked that i just kind of follow her around and she may have to go help her employees. she asked for another copy of my resume, looked it over. she inquired if i had children, my availability, etc. at one point, she stated that she had to go help out at cash, and suggested i pick some pieces out and make an outfit. when she came back, she looked it over and asked me to sell her the shirt i chose. she looked at the price and stated it was too expensive, and asked what i would do. she then asked how i would sell more pieces with it. then she asked what i would do if i had too many customers and was alone, or if i had no customers at all.
the interview was maybe 10 minutes, and it was quick. she thanked me and stated that call backs would be the following day.

Pay isn’t all that great but it’s okay for retail.

It was a Fairly easy process, and it was face to face in the back rooms. They understood my schedule and helped worked around it. They asked about myself and what I would do in certain situations.
