I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gap (Kansas City, MO) in Aug 2015
Interview
The interview process was like all normal interviews. I went in and was actually interviewed by two of the names: at the same time. They asked me the general interview questions. I was given a chance to ask my own questions to them. Then, at the end, we went down to the sales floor and role played as if I was an associate and they were customers looking for help finding an OK outfit for an occasion.
Group interview with other candidates with the store manager. Arrive at the store and wait for other candidates. Then interview happens in break room and it lasted roughly about 30-60minutes
It was a group interview of about 10-12 people. If I remember correctly they take you to the back, the stock room, and ask almost everyone the same question. The interview lasted about 30 minutes.
It was very easy, one in person interview with the general manager and then I was accepted! Mainly personality and behavioral questions were asked, and I think enthusiasm on my end helped the most.
