I applied through university. I interviewed at General Mills (South Bend, IN) in Sept 2017
Interview
Met them at the Career Fair and gave them my resume. Received an email inviting me to interview. There was an informal info session the day before the first round interview in order to meet your interviewers and make the interviews more casual. Two rounds, both behavioral and more or less the same questions. They just want to know that you know General Mills and are able to do more analytical and technical problems.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at General Mills (Minneapolis, MN) in Oct 2025
Interview
- 2 on 1 for the first interview
1 of them was asking questions and 1 of them was taking notes. Felt pretty intense, they never got back to me and said I would hear back after a week. I then reached out and they responded immediately saying I did not get the job.
Applied online and then interviewed over a zoom call. Straightforward and easy. Two rounds. Some online personality questions as well. Overall a good experience. Different interview lets each round both current employees.
