I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at General Mills (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2014
Interview
I met their university recruiter at a career fair on campus, talked to them for a while. A few days later they hosted an info session on campus about their internship program. I submitted a cover letter and resume a few days later. About a week later after my resume and cover letter submission I had an interview. The interview was mostly behavioural.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at General Mills (Minneapolis, MN) in Oct 2025
Interview
- 2 on 1 for the first interview
1 of them was asking questions and 1 of them was taking notes. Felt pretty intense, they never got back to me and said I would hear back after a week. I then reached out and they responded immediately saying I did not get the job.
Applied online and then interviewed over a zoom call. Straightforward and easy. Two rounds. Some online personality questions as well. Overall a good experience. Different interview lets each round both current employees.
