I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at General Mills (Minneapolis, MN) in Feb 2016
Interview
I started off with a 30 min phone interview. Then about a week later I had a day of in-person interviews. All interviews were in the STAR format so being able to answer behavioral questions is key. I feel like everyone wanted to see your true personality and learn not only about your previous roles but about how you would be a fit at General Mills.

I applied online. I interviewed at General Mills in Jan 2021
Interview
I went through a multi-step interview process. After submitting my application online, I was contacted via email to set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. The next round consisted of 3 one-on-one via Microsoft Teams: 15 min with the Talent Acquisitions Manager, 30 min with the HR Manager for the division, and 30 min with a Senior Marketing Manager for the division. In all interviews, I was asked situation and behavior-based questions. They want you to answer using the STAR method.
Overall, it was a good experience. Everyone was really nice and happy to answer all my questions along the way.

Additionally, there is a reasoning test that was very hard, you only get 22 minutes to answer 20 questions.
