I interviewed with Gilead Sciences in Feb 2022. Call with the hiring manager followed by an "on-site" (virtual) day of interviews which included a research talk and meeting/interview members of the team. Everyone was extremely friendly and tone of the interview was very conversational. Heard back from the recruiter within a week of the interview - the whole process took a month.

Interview
Common style interview, 8-3pm 1 on 1 interviews, asked to offer solutions to hypothetical scenarios, drilled down on my resume and technical experience. The whole hiring process was very fast, few weeks to an offer. People here seem to have the authority to make decisions. GSK and Genentech took forever (2+ months!) to move through the process.
