We have been restructuring our in-house recruitment team and trialling new approaches to our interviewing stages to improve the overall experience for candidates. Unfortunately, it sounds like your interviewing process was caught in the crossfire of improvements being trialled and implemented. Our apologies for this.
We have since finalised and implemented an improved process that tests all aspects of an Engineering Manager's role here at GoCardless (covering leadership, architecture and coding).
We’re also sorry to hear that enthusiasm for working at GoCardless didn’t come across from the members of the team whom you interviewed with. All of our interviewers are very passionate about working here at GoCardless; this is the first time we’ve had this feedback and is certainly something we’ll be looking into more closely for future interviews.
