I applied through university. I interviewed at Google
Interview
It was great! My interviewers were very charismatic. As expected from People Operations. Overall, they were patient and they are also volunteers. So they are pretty cool about everything. They take notes as you speak and then give that to the recruiter (I think).

Question 1
Hypotheticals are the hardest. One I got was
"The people operations teams is thinking about changing the work space into cubicles. How would you test if these were a good fit."
Two interviews back to back 45 minutes each. The first one was technical, not hard technical but just basic knowledge on SQL the second interview was very conversational Google questions. I feel like a lot of the interview has to do with having a good vibe with the other person.

Question 1
How would you handle a conflict between two coworkers…
What if those two coworkers both had extremely strong points?…
What would you do if the other coworker felt like you were favoring the other one not the idea?…
Typical process, starting off with a recruiter screen. It took a while to hear back whether or not I made it to next steps. Communication could be improved as to not let the candidate waiting for too long.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to go through change management.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Singapore) in Oct 2022
Interview
Detailed and ask real life vs hypothetical questions. Important you come prepared to share clear examples for the interviewers to better assess you. Do ask clarifying questions as well so that you can better answer.
