I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hollister Co. in Apr 2011
Interview
I regularly shop at Hollister. One day, the manager asked me if I was interested in working for them. I replied that I would enjoy working at Hollister. She asked me to come to a group interview the next day. The group interview was really interesting. There were 5 other people there. I was the only one hired out of the group.
The questions we were asked were:
(1.) Tell us about yourself.
(2.) What would your friends say is your best quality and give an example of it.
(3.) How is Hollister different from other stores in the mall.
(4.) How would you describe the Hollister style, if there is one.
(5.) What is good customer service?
(6.) How wold you deal with a rude customer?
(7.) If you had a problem with a co-worker what would you do?
(8.) What's a tag line? Does Hollister have one?
(9.) What does diversity mean to you and how does it apply in the work place?
(10.) Why are you the right person for Hollister?

Question 1
What diversity mean to you and how does it apply in the work place?
They will ask “what does diversity mean to you?” And it was a group interview at the time, taking turns asking each person and having them answer in front of the other.
Super easy and laid back with an emphasis on diversity. Be yourself and don’t over dress. Keep smiling and don’t forget to bring real world examples. It is a group interview
