I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at HubSpot (Denver, CO) in Apr 2025
Interview
The interview process consisted of a recruiter screen where she told me I would move forward, but she ended up forgetting to follow up with me. I asked her a week later if I was still a candidate and she sent a generic decline email. Not a great experience but I know recruiters are slammed.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked what my ratio to AEs was and what our metrics are. She also asked simple questions like what can I improve on and what’s a deal I’m proud of.
HR recruiter reached out, asked some general questions, the market knowledge, and technical questions, she said there will be 4 more rounds, didn't make it to second round. She said should be an update in 2-3 days, but I waited a week follow up, then 2 weeks later got rejected.
it started with recruiter round - standard motivational questions. Then progressed to hiring manager round, which was a lot of competency questions. And then was a panel to look at a mock scenario
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot
Interview
A pretty standard interview process. First was a call with the Recruiter, then an initial call with the Hiring Manager, finally a demo to a panel group. Focused on behavioral experiences, a little on technical side
