      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at HubSpot (Cambridge, MA) in May 2017

      Interview

Not to hard, but not easy. It was a standard sales interview, with the usual questions. There was a lot of time in between each step, is my only complaint.

      Question 1

What are three skills all sales people should have?

Thanks for taking the time to share your positive experience, even though you decided not to join us. I'd be curious to know a bit more about why you decided not to accept our offer - if you're open to sharing, please shoot me an email at beckym at hubspot dot com. We always want to be reflective on why we weren't successful in our recruiting process and your feedback will be incredibly valuable. -Becky

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Cambridge, MA) in Feb 2017

      Interview

Three rounds - call with recruiter, call with Sales Manager, and in person interviews with a few people on the sales team (Inbound Sales Coordinator & Sr. Manager of BDR's). Super straightforward interview process if you are prepared and willing to show you've researched the company and position. Be ready to explain why sales, why sales at HubSpot, why inbound marketing, what you know about inbound marketing, challenges in group settings, biggest accomplishments, strengths, weaknesses, and why sales is a good career path for you. In person interviews were casual and conversational which was great - they make you feel really comfortable!! Love the HubSpot team and the interview process was transparent.
