Total waste of time.
They're going to ask you to have about 6-7 separate conversations.
Once you get to the role play exercise, they'll send you a ton of documents. You're not supposed to be an "expert," but they'll 100% pigeon hole you into missing points about competitors or differentiators.
At the end of the day, I wouldn't waste your time. It's evident they're the type of sales floor that doesn't give a care about you, it's all about them and what can you do for me - puke.
The rumors I've heard about churning through reps.. yeah, I would tread carefully.
Nooo thanks

Interview
The interview process was clearly outlined from the beginning, so interviewers knew what to expect. The recruiter was very friendly and helpful, offering support with preparation and answering any questions I had.
Unfortunately, that was the extent of the friendliness I experienced during the process. Two of the three interviewers I met with, beyond the recruiter, came across as disengaged and gave the impression that interviewing was a burden. The third interviewer—who I was told was at the director level—was the most disappointing. Their tone and line of questioning felt unprofessional and dismissive.
I understand the importance of ensuring a candidate is a good fit for the organization, but a little compassion and empathy can go a long way. Interviewing is challenging, and you never know what circumstances have led someone to seek a new role.
I was genuinely excited about the opportunity after speaking with the recruiter and reading the company’s values online. However, those values felt like empty words based on the behavior of some of the employees I encountered.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at HubSpot (Paris) in Jun 2025

Interview
Long and comprehensive. First steps are nice with the recruiter. Very helpful with the info and guidance they provide. Ask all the questions that might benefit you, such as "where would you say my weaknesses could be based on what you have seen in my profile so far".

Question 1
Why Hubspot? Don't say something about working at a remote first company or the culture. Has to be an intrinsic reason that the product/company is appealing.
