I interviewed for a position as a Recent College Graduate (Finance Department) in mid December. I applied online, I was contacted by a representative from the staffing department, pre screened and an interview was arranged. I was interviewed by a two person panel. One was a finance department manager and the other a member of the HR team. The interviewers were friendly initially giving a run down on the company and the specifics of the role. They then proceeded to ask me specific behavioural questions requiring answers with examples from my employment history. They then asked some specific accounting related questions (accrual accounts) as well as asking me why I wanted to join the company, what I could bring and what I hoped to learn. The interview took place in mid December and as off the 8th of January I am still waiting to be contacted with a decision.
