Interview Process:
The process included an initial HR screening, followed by a technical interview, and a final presentation round. I attended the technical interview, which was conducted by a single interviewer whose title was Senior Technical Product Manager. However, he mentioned that he did not come from a technical background — which was surprising given that this was a Technical Product Manager role.
The conversation itself went smoothly, and I was informed that I would be moving to the next round. However, I later received a rejection email stating that I was “not technical enough,” which felt inconsistent with the nature of the interview.
Advice to Management:
Consider having at least two interviewers in technical rounds to ensure balanced assessment and minimize potential bias.
