Used my interview to ask about other people I used to work with to determine if they were qualified for the job vs. me. He could have just asked me for a reference instead of pretending to interview me for the job

Highly unprofessional - they repeatedly approached me, then cut contact, only to message me again months later. After going through numerous screening calls, I finally had the interview. However, they ended up ghosting me once again after the interview.
