I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at L'Oréal (Clark, NJ) in Jan 2018
Interview
received an email to schedule an interview
went for the interview
met 2 senior chemists
the interview was technical
they were so nice and I had enough time and space to express myself and answer their questions
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at L'Oréal in Jan 2024
Interview
Had a phone screen with recruiter. She ghosted me for 3 weeks post phone screen. No update because she HERSELF said to email her if I don't hear an update. I did my due diligence. No update. She should be sacked out to be honest. Who she to decide whether I should get the job? It's the hiring manager's decision. At least pass on the resume and then tell the recruiter. She's not hiring manager. HR and management need to revise their hiring policies anyways in general . Website doesn't allow for more than 3 applications per month which dismays the applicants especially now because the market is tough and the layoffs.

Question 1
Basic HR questions, chemistry skills questions, HR was rather selling the company in my face than talk about the role in an attempt to apply more lol. As if Loreal's the only company. If the website is torpid to allow limited applications and if better recruiters could be acquired. There will be huge day and night difference.
Interview was very easy and interviewers were very kind. However, the process did take awhile. After the first round of interviews, I did not hear back until after 2 months.
It was pretty simple and straiggt forwaed they emailed me for an i terview first recording of video then they selected me for one on one interview rhen offered job
