I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at L'Oréal (Guangzhou, Guangdong) in Oct 2013
Interview
It was a group interview. Each round included two group each of which consisted of five people. Each candidate was first asked to take two minutes to introduce themselves. Then we had a situational task in which we were asked to choose a brand that best presents Asia and design a marketing activity for this brand. The HR manager walked out of the room when we discussed, which in my view should have been a good time to watch how participants think and act in this situation. Each group had one representative presenting their ideas.
Interviews for summer internships from the Brandstorm competition will ask you a lot about your background and key points on your resume and how you would be able to incorporate that into L’Oreal.
hard, difficult case study and interview, do research on the role. important to project confidence and show passion, and you should be able to talk about what you have learnt from past internships or projects
