      Talent Acquistion Lead Interview

      7 May 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Bristol, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lloyds Banking Group (Bristol, England) in Apr 2024

      Interview

1:1 conversation with some very high up in the function I was interviewing for, we spoke for 30 minutes. No real competency based questions asked, more of general conversation so didn't really give me much chance to sell myself. This was on the Tuesday, was told I'd get an update on the Friday... NOTHING... Following Weds I messaged the manager on LinkedIn... NOTHING again. Over a week later I get a generic rejection email. I pushed back and told them it wasn't good enough and I deserve detailed feedback, got a limp apology saying they'll try and improve but still no feedback. The person I met with should be the person advocating for feedback not avoiding it.
