There was 2 round of interviews. First interview was with the hiring manager and second interview was with the technical team.
After the 2nd round of interview, the recruiter was saying that I was shortlisted and asking me to provide pay slips.
After providing pay slips, there was no news until I followed up with the recruited and got an update through WhatsApp that I was not shortlisted due to my expected salary which I had specified on the application form, is out of their budget.
I just wondering if the recruiter knew that the expected salary is not matches with the budget, why they still contacting the job applicant.
I wish that the recruiting process could be improved since this kind of practice is wasting a time and effort.
