I applied online at macys.com, and received a computer generated email to schedule an interview through their website. I drove at outside the city just to get to the interview by the way. When i got their, there were several people waiting, and the interviewer was late. She interviewed me and this other person for a sales associate position, when I really applied for administrative support. I felt very mislead. Afterwards, she said she really liked us, but there are no open positions, so she is going to keep our applications on file. I thought it was very rude to have me drive all the way out there, to get told that the position has been already filled! In addition, I did not apply for the sales associate position, so why interview me for that! They obviously don't care about the candidates and employees! I called another location in regards to their positions, and they told me it was already filled, except they aren't taking the position off the website! What a waste of people's time.
