Interviewer Jennifer Hertz started off the meeting immediately, saying, "Hi--why don't you walk me through your resume," only two seconds after I connected to Teams. The salary on Macy's is a lie. It's stated as $53.5K/yr - $89.2K/yr and she said it's actually $68K. When I pointed out that the job description states it's up to $89K, she did a half eye-roll and said, "Yeah, everyone says that..." ?! Well, of course everyone is bringing up your bait-and-switch. I asked about flexibility potentially and she said none. I decline to waste my time further. I should've seen the red flag sooner. This is her first email to me: "HI. I received your resume and would like to schedule a short video call with you, Can you please give me times your available? Thanks and looking forward!" I didn't edit this whatsoever, grammatic and typos, and no introduction, no signature. Run!
