Question 1
What could I bring to the table to help the company
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Mercy (Ardmore, OK) in Dec 2011
Interview
Mercy is very to the point. The HR department and management was extremely compassionate and understanding and willing to do what they could to get me hired on. I believe that they had wanted to hire me before bringing me into the interview, and I just talked to HR, management and had a quick tour and meet and greet with my coworkers. It was all complete in a matter of an hour and a half. I was very relieved at how nice and enthusiastic everyone was and it eased my nerves especially with moving from another state. Once I got to the interview, I knew this was a good move. I now have 2 appointments to make before I begin work: to get put into the system and drug test (which thankfully they do in house which is not normally how I remember hospitals doing) and then my orientation.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Mercy (Springfield, MO) in Oct 2013
Interview
Interview was very easy going! I had one interview at HR and one with my future supervisor at the laboratory. At HR they asked me general questions, such as how do I handle stress? Why do I think I'm a good fit for Mercy? How would I handle situations with my coworkers? I'm a team player? Can I work under stress?
