I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Microsoft (Madrid) in Jul 2017
Interview
HR call, followed by HR face to face interview, interview with the hiring manager, then with someone in the team, and last with their manager (the service lead.) They made me go to the office twice times. They came back with an offer fairly quickly, which was good enough for cash but with some interesting perks.

Question 1
Typical questions around sticky situations with a customer: mismanaged expectations, technology not working, miscommunications.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Microsoft (New Delhi) in Apr 2010
Interview
I returned to India 2008 Nov after working in the US for 13 years and interviewed with MS Delhi Apr 2010.
I was told I am over qualified after 9 rounds of interview. I was surprised that the senior most manager at MS for the Sr. Engagement Manager role kept giving mixed feedback after every round and was found unable to make a decision. The interviewer talked to me like I made up the whole story about my background whereas the other interviewers spoke very highly of me. I felt the hiring manager felt a little insecure anyways regardless after 9 rounds of interview the company decided not to extend an offer. Disappointed that big giants like MS was not interested in my talent.
