I applied through university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (Montreal, QC) in Sept 2019
Interview
Applied through university career portal (Technology Analyst Program - TAP).
1st Round:
1:1 interview with a manager. Mostly going over my resume, projects, and past work experience.
2nd Round: Assessment Day
Full day at Morgan Stanley. Starts with a group activity (I wouldn't worry about this). Then, three ~45 minutes to an hour 1:1 with three people. Went over my resume again as well as easy programming questions.
DISCLAIMER:
- I was very lucky and didn't actually have to code anything. Only had to explain my approach. Most of other candidates had a much tougher experience.
- At the offer stage. There was absolutely no room for negotiation!
TAP.
Super day consists of 2 Technicals and 1 behavioural interview.
Test Data Structure & Algo and CS fundamentals. It is a pretty straightforward process, and the interviewers are nice.
