This was not a good experience. I was asked to come in for an interview and did, meeting with the hiring manager. We got along well — her biggest concern was if I could design and develop fun training, since Netflix is known for people being fun and quirky. I said yes, and we scheduled a follow-up interview and I would bring some samples of my work. Coming from banking and finance industry, my samples were limited, and not what she wanted. She hated it so much that she cancelled the scheduled follow-up interviews with other people, which was just uncomfortable. I didn't feel comfortable and she was ruder than was needed but in hindsight, she didn't waste any more of our time than was necessary.
