From the very beginning of my application process, I felt like I was being welcomed into a team — not just applying for a job. The entire experience was structured, transparent, and respectful of my time.
First I met Jarvis James (Recruiter), then the Hiring Manager. 3rd. round was with a Manager of a different department, then presenting a Pitch, meeting the VP and then receiving an offer. Quite a few rounds, but on the other hand that allowed me to meet lots of relevant people and get a feeling on how they see the market and the opportunity, etc.
Special thanks to Jarvis James, who accompanied me throughout the whole journey. Jarvis made all the difference — constantly providing proactive updates, thoughtful feedback, and genuine support. I never once had to ask for the status of my application; he was always ahead of the curve, creating trust and partnership.
The interviews were well-planned and gave me a great opportunity to get to know the company, the culture, and the people behind it. Of course according to the role it was not the easiest path and I did spend quite some time on research and building the pitch in order to leave an impression, but I think that's fair, considering the salary NewRelic is willing to offer.
