Got an email from HR and scheduled a phone call. They didn't ask much, basically my work availability. Went for an interview next day. HR person interviewed me first, about 30 minutes, asking questions about why nordstrom and what do I hi knit takes to be a successful salesperson. Right after, talked to a department manager. Questions were similar to the ones asked by HR. Got a call back same afternoon offering me the position.
A few questions with someone then you’ll meet with a manager in a department they think you would good for. The department manager had me pick out an outfit for a pretend customer and describe why I picked certain items

Talk about a previous great experience you gave to a customer
Normal behavioral questions and questions related to retail experience/interest in fashion. Nice interviewer was low pressure experience. Interviewed by department manager. Heard back day of interview and started training very soon after.

Applied online. Got an email about a week later. Went in to a Seasonal Hiring Event. Interviewed with a manager. Most questions were situational questions. Very easy process. Offererred position on the spot.
