I applied online. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Denver, CO) in Jul 2015
Interview
Applied online>scheduled phone interview that same day. Had in person two weeks later. My experience was terrible! Was judged before I even sat down & opened my mouth. Not a very warm demeanor. Was told that the counter I was interviewing for was not even hiring but some others were- but not THAT one (even though the recruiter said so.) She kept cutting me off before I even finished me sentence. Attitude, attitude..
Meet a hiring manager, meet the specific manager for your role, answer some simple questions. No demonstration of skills required. Expect to meet a few people before signing a contract.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (The Woodlands, TX) in Nov 2022
Interview
Horrible! They only had 4 positions available with 100-250 applicants for each! After I applied they sent me a generic email, stating to come to their job fair! Seriously? Why would they even have a job fair for only 4 positions in the entire store (of which 100's of candidates already applied)!

Question 1
Will you come to our open house job fair on a specific date with tons of other candidates (after they had already filled the positions)?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Richmond, VA) in Jun 2022
Interview
The interview process was quite easy, I applied then received a cll back followed by an interview with their HR and then another with the cosmetics floor manager. All interviews were easy and I was offered the job on the spot.
