The interview process has two rounds. The first round is a technical interview with the CTO and the development team members. The second round is an informational interview with the CEO and the CTO. The whole interview process took only a few weeks. Received a verbal offer at the end of the second interview.
Things started to go south since requesting for the official employment agreement. The contents of the contract are either not consistent with the job descriptions or what the CEO previously agreed and claimed. When asked for clarifications, the CEO addressed only a small part of the questions that interest him and ignored the rest. The CEO claimed that the contract complies with the law but could not provide supporting evidences. When asked to amend the contract according to the exact article(s) of the law, the CEO insisted that those requests do not fit the culture of the company. After multiple requests and failed attempts to address the problematic statements in the contract, the CEO said his company is tired of responding me and decided to rescind the offer.
