Interview
I applied through LinkedIn for the Business Development representative role for Netsuite (London) in January 2020.
The process was quick and fairly straightforward. There was an initial phone interview, which consisted of questions regarding your understanding of the role, why you would like the role + the company, your previous experience and why you think you'd be a good fit.
Then I was invited to an assessment center. For the assessment we had to prep an introduction piece, which was read out loud to other graduates and focused on who we were, where we had come from, a chosen dinner guest and why. We also had to prep a 3-minute elevator pitch on ourselves, which we performed in private to two other BD reps. Fairly straightforward and you can bring in notes.
In between that, we had two group exercises (game-based scenarios testing your ability to communicate with others, nothing more) and a 1-2-1 interview for 30 mins. There was also the opportunity to meet current BD reps and ask honest questions.
Overall a quick and swift process.

Interview
I had two phone interviews (first was generic; the second was to test my language skills) and finally I was invited to the assessment day in person.
The final assessment day lasted an entire day, however, some candidates were sent home earlier as there were no longer in the running for candidates.
I first presented to a group of people and then I did two group activities (simple). In the second part I had to do a 3 minutes presentation where I had to explain why I want a career in NetSuite Sales and Why they should hire me. Finally, I had an individual interview with a hiring manager.
So far I enjoyed getting to speak with the current Business development Representatives. I got to see what the job really was, although it seemed mostly just speaking on the phone/email for the entire day with potential customers. Which during the first two interviews they made the job seem more challenging and a bit different than it actually is.
After the assessment day was complete we were told they would let us know in a few days (Friday or Monday). It has now been 3 Weeks and I have not received any call. I have emailed and also called multiple times to check for an update and have not heard back. This was the most disappointing part leaving me with a very negative view of the company. I took off work for this assessment day and also skipped work to prepare for the assessment day and presentations. I dedicated time on my holiday to do phone interviews at their convenience.
