I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (London, England) in Nov 2017
Interview
I got in through a referral. Had one phone screen with simple behavioural and motivational questions, one Hackerrank-Challenge (75min) and one technical phone interview. The hackerrank challenge was pretty large and not feasible in the time frame, but that was not the goal behind it. The technical phone interview was really easy and focused on coding style.
Then I was invited onsite: Well organised trip and very convenient stay in London. I did 3 technical interviews before lunch (problem decomposition, technical question, coding question). They were all advanced but not too difficult. The interviewers gave hints and the atmosphere was nice.
After lunch I did a Hiring Interview with 2 Hiring Managers. 30 min behavioural questions and one technical one.
I was really happy with the whole process. Unfortunately I was rejected. Interestingly they were really happy with my technical skills, but didn't like some answers to the behavioural questions.
Thing like: Not good enough reflection on older projects and lack of motivation for the company. This I do not understand, because I talked a lot about my motivation (which was real ;)) and about different projects. So I don't know what to change on that end. But interesting to know that they put such an emphasis on that.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Merging of Sets: Sets Users which reference other user groups.
Had a chat with HR and then a technical interview with an engineer. They gave some some quite normal leatcode type questions that I had to answer to continue to the next steps.
I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (New York, NY)
Interview
I have so far completed the 20 minute recruiter call, which was an easy behavioral. They asked me what I'm looking for in a job and what I do at my current role.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (New York, NY)
Interview
Quick call with recruiter then technical interview. First call was easy, fit of company etc... Technical interview was leetcode easy and code walk through. Overall, much easier than what I had read online.
