I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (Washington, DC) in Oct 2024
Interview
Applied online through Palantir's website, make sure to write thoughtful responses for each of the questions. Had an initial phone screen with a recruiter, then a 30min technical phone round with a Palantir engineer. Moving on led to virtual onsite, which consisted of a 1hr decomp interview and 1hr learning interview. Finally, a 1hr interview with a hiring manager going over some weak points in the previous 3 interviews. All the people I talked to were enthusiastic and easy to talk to. The only complaint about the process is the interval between each round of interviews, which led to the entire process taking about 3 months.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why are you applying for this specific job (SWE vs FDSE)?
Once you enter virtual onsite round, you sign an NDA.
Had a chat with HR and then a technical interview with an engineer. They gave some some quite normal leatcode type questions that I had to answer to continue to the next steps.
I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (New York, NY)
Interview
I have so far completed the 20 minute recruiter call, which was an easy behavioral. They asked me what I'm looking for in a job and what I do at my current role.

Application
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (New York, NY)
Interview
Quick call with recruiter then technical interview. First call was easy, fit of company etc... Technical interview was leetcode easy and code walk through. Overall, much easier than what I had read online.
