Interview

It was an interview for Front end Software engineering intern in Maryland. I had a coding interview on the phone and one of interviewers was so disrespectful. I was asked to do debug on buggy codes without enough explanation.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at PayPal (San Jose, CA) in Oct 2025

Interview

1 phone interview, 2 technical interview (varies per team), and one recruiter call (received offer). It was pretty streamlined. One of the technical interview leaned more toward system design, so I didn't receive a live-coding style question for that particular round

OA -> Recruiter Screen -> 2 technical interviews 45 min each. The recruiter screen asked basic behavioral questions and technicals had couple resume questions and one leetcode problem. The leetcode questions were easy to medium.
