Question 1
Was supposed to be a code review question, but instead were questions about tech stack, would go into details on some of them such as database principles, or AWS and others just superficial
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Payoneer (Petah Tikva) in Oct 2025
Interview
HR screening call of about 15 minutes, followed by a 45 minutes online coding interview. It was supposed to be a code review exercise, but instead he asked general questions about DB, SQL, LINQ, services, and more. The interviewer had the questions and answers in front of him and whenever I responded, he corrected me by reading the "official" answer from the paper - even when I said almost the same thing. A few days later I received an email saying that I didn't pass due to a lack of knowledge. funny.
The next steps were supposed to be a 90 minutes in-person coding and design interview, followed by interviews with HR and group manager.
