I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Pinterest (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2019

Interview

The process was fast. Got a coding assessment in late September. Once i did the challenge, the recruiter got back to me in 2 days to schedule a karat video interview . I was then invited for an onsite in SF. The onsite was 4 interviews back to back and the interviewers were nice and smart. I then got an offer call after 2 weeks following the onsite interview.

Received OA. After I submitted OA, the recruiter contacted me for further evaluations. However, after that they never replied me back. I hope they did, even if it's with bad news.

Initial Codesignal score. Paired with an interviewer who was conducting for the first time. Question was vague and hard to understand. Recruiter was helpful throughout the process since the beginning but interview was difficult.

Codesignal OA - Not too hard, 3 medium and 1 easy leetcode questions. Recruiter Phone Screening - Good but I did not know why it took 2 weeks for her to reply back to me with the next steps although I sent a follow-up email. At the time, I thought I was ghosted. Onsite - Interviewers were lack of communication which is against their expectations of a candidate. I tried to ask for clarification of the questions but they talked a little.

Medium/Hard leetcode. I solved almost all of them except in one interview I was lost because I did not really understand the question while the interviewer was not happy to answer my questions.
