Other Software Engineer Intern interview reviews for Pinterest
Started off with a codesignal online assessment after the resume screen, recruiter phone call, 1h technical, and finally another recruiter call when I was notified I had gotten the offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard behavioral questions, make sure you can talk about you, your motivations, and your experiences coherently. Technical consisted of leetcode-style questions, with 3 total.
There was a recruiter screen, which was mainly behavioral. It asked pretty standard questions like why us and tell me about yourself. Recruiter screen was followed by technical, which had a question on graphs.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Pinterest (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2025
Interview
Codesignal GCA (70 min, 4 questions) -> Recruiter call (30 min, basic behavioral questions, logistical stuff) -> Technical screen (60 min, 2-3 LC styled Pinterest-related questions on CoderPad)
Overall, enjoyable process as my recruiter got back to me very fast! I think I did get luck for the technical because I wasn't asked anything too graph-specific, like Dijkstra's or DSU...
